It has been two days since I took Muttly (formerly Ben) home with me. Already he has given me such joy. He's a sweet boy. Thank you for taking care of him and helping me to find him. Muttly says hello, and thank you.

We adopted Roxey(then Amber) in January 2007. It took alot of training but we new it was the right dog for our family. Funny thing is that we looked in all surrounding shelters for months, when we saw Roxy, we where recommended not to get her by some staff, but it took one single lick of the hand of my husband that stole our hearts. We truly want to thank everyone at fauquier SPCA for the work that you do. Thank you for our special dog!

We love the people here at the SPCA, even filmed a documentary about our involvement about dogs with their support. We also have adopted several dogs.

I have adopted several times over the years from the spca. I adopted Wrinkles a 10 year shar-pei bloodhound mix who became my constant companion for the last 3 1/2 years of his life. I adopted Maggie a shar-pei that had cancer. I had her for about 6 months. She met me at the door every morning when I came home from work with special Maggie kisses. The sadness of loss can never outweigh the joy and love that these two dogs brought me. If ever someone isn't sure about an older, tell them the reward is by far worth it.

Thank you so much for bringing our beautiful puppy into our lives! We found an 8 week old beagle/dachshund and couldn't leave without her back in November. We couldn't imagine our lives without her! She is so sweet and a great pet.
