How to dispose of your beloved pet's remains can be an emotional decision. Often burial is not an option and many home owner associations do not permit backyard burials.
The Fauquier SPCA now provides affordable cremation services with a number of options to fit your requirements and budget. The shelter has a professional and certified staff who ensure the highest possible standards are consistently met and your pet's remains treated with dignity and care.

The Fauquier SPCA now offer free pick-up of deceased pets that are to be cremated at the shelter. This service is offered on weekends only and within a twenty mile radius of the shelter.
Options
The price of a cremation includes free pick up from your home or veterinary clinic within a 20 mile radius. Alternatively, you can deliver your pet's remains to our shelter.
Your pet's remains will be returned to you in a decorative tin or at an additional cost of $15.00, a classic wooden box with your pet's name engraved on a brass plate.
Deceased pets can be dropped off or picked up during shelter opening hours and will be available within three business days.
