Clicker training is the training method of "marking" your dog's behaviour by the sound of a *click*.

The objective is to use the click to define the precise moment when your dog does something right. By first teaching your dog to associate the click with a treat, or praise, you can literally shape your dog's behaviour.

The Clicker is a small plastic box with a metal strip that makes a sharp, clicking sound when pushed and released. Its value is that the unique sound doesn't get lost in the babble of words we are constantly throwing at our dogs. It is faster than saying "Good dog!" and allows the trainer to mark with great precision the behavior for which the dog is being reinforced. Paired with something the animal finds very reinforcing, the clicker becomes a powerful tool for shaping behavior.

The room is offered in 3 hour increments that include 15 minutes before and after for set-up/clean-up.
The room is available for bookings all day on Saturdays and Sunday afternoon.

The party schedule is flexible and will include a tour of the shelter plus age appropriate games, classes and 'hands-on' activities. 

The price of $150 includes the use of the room, pet play and education classes.
